Grandmas Antique Commode

When my grandma passed, I really really really hoped I would get one of her antique commodes. I love using these precious pieces as small dressers. In fact, when I was little the dresser I had growing up was an antique commode. I was so excited when my mom gave this beauty. I put it in my bedroom and often thought about painting it but I didn't dare. Then one dreadful night, I had a sick little lady who needed to have the humidifier running all night. Well, the darn thing must have gotten too warm or something but it left a huge spot on the top. I was devastated but knew I could come up with something for it. So here it is.... Original hardware and original real glass knob!!!!
